Anthony Caldwell BSc (Hons) Dip PFS
Director & Senior Financial Planner
Anthony began his career in financial services in late 1995 in central London, advising clients on investment, pension and protection.
He has over nearly three decades of financial sector experience and has worked at a national level with organisations such as the BBC, medium-sized pharmaceutical companies, and many smaller entrepreneurial and local businesses in the Hertfordshire area.
He has a disciplined approach to developing financial planning, giving clients the best service he can. His starting point is establishing what a client’s long-term objective and financial goals are, and firmly believes that "A Goal Properly Set is Halfway Reached". He has full responsibility for the company oversight to make sure the company is following and meeting all the regulatory processes required by the FCA.
He is married to Caroline, they have two teenage daughters, two dogs and have lived in St Albans for nearly 25 years. Out of work is family time, dog walks and following Saracens Rugby club.
Yasmin Gibbons
Client service & relationship manager
Yasmin has developed her career in financial services since 1996 and has worked with Anthony in some capacity since 2000, supporting him and his clients when she was part of a large national organisation in the financial services. Yasmin joined Anthony to work directly with him in 2011 to help manage clients and the office, providing clients with steadfast service using her strong administration and organisational skills. In more recent years, she has taken on the responsibility of much of the research work, and the ever-increasing complexity of ensuring that clients all enjoy and receive their annual review meetings and that all servicing is carried out in the timescales expected and to the highest standards.
Yasmin is St Albans born and bred, moving to Welwyn in 2015. She is married to Chris with whom she travels with as much as possible, visiting family in Sweden when time allows it.
Kim Flin
Financial Planner
Kim has been working in financial services on and off since 2003, working with Anthony as his support within a provider firm. Following a career break to have children, Kim started working with a small IFA firm, moving to work with Vita from April 2016. Kim joined on the administration side, and then during COVID finished off her qualifications as a Financial Adviser and has been working alongside Anthony since as the second adviser within the firm.
Kim has lived in Hertfordshire most of her life, Kim now lives in Royston with her husband Mark and their two teenage daughters.
Caroline Caldwell
Director
Caroline started her career in customer services and then worked in recruitment and HR for approx 15 years.
After a career break for a number of years to start their family, Caroline joined the family business taking responsibility for the accounts and business planning and many director oversight responsibilities making sure the business is meeting its regulatory requirements. With Anthony they have two teenage daughters, live in St Albans and also spends lots of time on dog walks or following Saracens rugby club.
Joanna Maxwell
Office Administrator
Joanna started her career in banking where she worked with a major UK high street bank for 16 years, before taking a break to raise her 2 children. During her banking life, she experienced many different customer service and support roles bringing to the Vita team in April 2024 a lot of first class administration experience to support the Client Administration side of the business. Joanna lives in Welwyn with her husband James, her 2 children and beautiful Labrador, Bella. She enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Julie Tillin
Bookkeeper & Cashflow modelling
Julie has been a client of Anthony's since 1998 and was recruited to join the team in 2021. She began her career in the charity sector, completing her accountancy training in 2000. Julie worked on a part time basis whilst raising her 2 sons, who are now back at home in St.Albans after University. Julie runs all the book keeping for the business and then updates and sets up client profiles in the cashflow modeller tool that we use within the business. In her spare time Julie enjoys singing with a ladies acapella group and travelling with her husband Chris.
